Hello. I em excited to be coming and giving the keynote presentation at the ILN conference next week. My name is Jessamyn West and I have a professional blog at Librarian.net. I’ll be talking about some of the information literacy issues I face as a librarian in rural Vermont, USA, but also showing how new technologies can help librarians and educators solve technological and educational problems. I will also be leading a hands-on workshop in using and understanding blogs and wikis as tools for professionals and for students. While I only speak English and a little Romanian, many of my students are first-time technology users which presents its own unique language barrier issues. I hope to learn from you as well as share my own experiences. Thank you for having me.
